Fan Works for any Fandom

Hey Hey It's The Monkees!!!

Although the Monkees weren't my first fandom, they certainly have played an important part in my love of music as a whole.

Around January of 2008, after a long "break", I somehow managed to get myself back into my Monkee-Love and thanks to the wonderful thing known as the internet I found Monkees fanfiction. I've seen many awesome writers since coming into this fandom, including, but not limited to, Enola Jones, Mich (both of them also write great Who fanfics), the members of the Monkees Dreamworld Yahoo Group and Madame.

Although now that I think about it I am a little different from most Monkee authors I find, most fans that I seem to encounter are Christian/Catholic and Monkee fans from at least the 80s while I, meanwhile, don't believe in practicing set religions and I'm also still just in high school.

But none of that really matters since we're all just in it for the fiction right...right...why am I waiting for an answer?

Draft - What happens when Davy receives a draft notice in the mail? Will he be shipped out to Vietnam and be forced to quit the group or does someone have a plan? This was my first Monkees fanfic, but it wasn't my first idea (that one is still being written). As to how I came up with it...thank imdb and my royally screwed up brain.   Rated: PG for themes of war and slight language

My Tragic Valentine - The Monkees spend a sad Valentine's Day in Manchester, England. Filled with friendship...and death...but mostly friendship So far this has been the fic I haven't liked as much, maybe because I rushed it out in like four days? XD Rated: PG for themes of death

Another Place We Can Never Go Back To- When the Monkees have extra money they decide to go out to eat. And what better place then the new Japanese restaurant, ne? This story came into being for a few reasons, my birthday came around, I had just gotten back into the Monkees and Japanese food ROCKS! Rated: PG for screwed up humor, PG-13 if you speak Japanese
